Streamer Showcase
We heard your feedback that you want to know where you can join a game, and we also know that you want your games to be seen. So, with this release, we are introducing the Streamer Showcase! You will be able to see streamers playing songbattle.io right on the front page, in the upper left. You can jump into their stream with a single click and join the fun. Are you a streamer yourself? We will ask you if you would like to be featured once you create a game, or you can opt in directly from the showcase or your profile.
Front page, refined
Since we want to showcase your streams on the front page, we also gave that area a facelift. Bigger buttons, better logo, and more detailed descriptions on how to play, all included!
Visual and internal Improvements
While we were at it rebuilding the front page, we also improved various other parts of the game, like most input fields. We are also working on several things internally, in preparation for the next releases. Stay tuned!

Improved Music Players
We made a lot of changes to the various players, for example for Spotify, SoundCloud or Apple Music. They are now looking cleaner, more similar to each other, and blurring covers is now less intrusive.
Keep the Music playing
The winner of the game now gets kept on-screen, instead of reloading once you choose it as a winner. This way, the music never stops if you have the winner song playing once crowning it as the winner. Keep the party rolling!
Your music, your picture
The players now show your profile picture next to your name. It's your submission after all, so let's keep your face/avatar/whatever else you like right next to it.
Voting matters
We made improvements to how voting works. A Twitch poll created by songbattle now automatically closes once you choose the winner. Also, we completely reworked our chat voting, to make sure that the game keeps running fine even if thousands of you vote in one chat.

songbattle.io now supports Suno
Artifical Intelligence is all-around us recently, and music is no exception. Hence, we figured it was about time to introduce Suno, the song generating AI platform, to songbattle. You can now submit Suno songs to games, including those you created yourself! Of course, you can also search for Suno directly within a game, and can combine them in games with songs from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and Soundcloud.

Co-host your games
songbattle.io is a game for friends, and what could be better than running the entire game with one or more of your friends? You can now add co-hosts to your game. They get moderator rights, but can also listen to the songs, and their chat is being counted if you vote via Twitch chat.
Notifications for everyone
Nobody likes pop-ups, even for cool new features. So we moved everything we would like to tell you to the new notification menu. Check out the bell on the upper right!
Reorder submission screen
Most of you want to do one thing above all: submit your songs! We noticed that was a little difficult, so we broke down the submission to the basic: A field for your song and a button to hand it in.
Various internal improvements
We have big things in store for coming versions of songbattle.io, and that requires some prep work. You will be able to see the fruits of that labor soon, so stay tuned!

Apple Music and SoundCloud are here
You can now set your games to include songs from Apple Music and SoundCloud, and search, add and play songs from these streaming providers, additionally to the songs from YouTube and Spotify.
YouTube Timestamps
songbattle.io now recognises timestamps in YouTube links. After you submit a YouTube link with a timestamp, you have the option to include the timestamp as well. Your song will be marked with the timestamp, and will start at that time in-game.
Game Topics
It is now possible to set topics for your games. The topic will be shown to your players, and can also be displayed in-game. If you can not think of a topic, you can also randomly get one from our suggestions.
Even larger games
You can now play games with up to 128 songs. If you would like to include as many songs from your community into your game, make sure to crank the settings up to include the new maximum of 128 songs per game.

Simplified Game Setup
We have completely restructured the setup page of your game. You can now see your settings and all your submitted songs at a glance. No more looking for hidden settings or where you can send in a song.
Restructuring of Homepage
The homepage of songbattle.io has been revamped to give you a quick idea of what songbattles are all about. You can easily start a game yourself with the button at the center. There are now also more options in the menu under your profile picture.
Support Us Button
We really appreciate how much you love songbattle.io, to the point where some of you have asked us if you can support us in some way. We have added a "Support Us" button to songbattle.io, if you do feel like supporting us by donating. Either way, thank you so much for supporting us!

What is songbattle.io?
At songbattle.io you can create your own music competition! It's the goal of the game to crown the best song out of multiple link submissions (from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud or Suno). You can create your songbattle as a free-for-all, or you can give it a topic (for example 80s, movie soundtracks, etc.). All songs from your community or your friends battle against each other in a K.O.-system until only the winning song remains!
Can I use songbattle.io for my Twitch-Streams?
If you are a Twitch streamer you will love songbattle.io! This browser game is perfect for every livestream, including best possibilities for interaction with your viewers. Provide your audience a gripping competition to watch, let them send in their favourite songs and/ or include them in the decision making process.
