About songbattle

What is songbattle?

songbattle is a music tournament platform. A host starts a battle, the audience submits songs from Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and more, and every round the crowd votes until one song is left standing. It runs entirely in the browser: no download, and no account needed to join.

songbattle is used by Twitch and YouTube streamers playing with their chat, and by friend groups playing with each other. It has been live since April 2022. Since then more than 340,000 battles have been played, with over 6.5 million songs submitted and more than 28 million votes cast.

Michelle co-founded songbattle and leads the company as its authorized managing director. She looks after the business and operational side, and represents songbattle UG (haftungsbeschränkt).

Sebastian Wilczek

Sebastian co-founded songbattle and builds the platform. He is responsible for the technical side: the web app, the backend, and the integrations with Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Twitch and more.
